Four Signs of Performative Communications

Performative communications cause more harm than good. Without the skills as a communicator and content creator, it's hard to spot. As a result, we do what we know how to do and then get surprised or even frustrated when there's pushback.

It's tough being a communicator these days. We can feel afraid of saying the wrong thing so we either freeze, fight or take flight.

Those aren't the only options, nor are they the best ones.

Building our diversity, equity and inclusion skills and applying them to our work is required from now on.

DEI communication skills are our responsibility and we need to own our role in our organizations' diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
